These terms govern the use of Sabboura, the tutor that explains by speaking and drawing. They are accepted by the parent (or legal guardian), who creates the family account and is responsible for it, and, for their part, by the student who uses the service.
1. Publisher
Sabboura is published by InnoviaBurst, SUARL (single-member limited liability company), share capital: (registration in progress), tax identification number 1985775A, national business register number: (registration in progress), activity: programmation informatique, registered office: Rue Habib Thameur, Résidence Haj Dahman, Étage 1, Jendouba Sud, 8100 Jendouba, Tunisia. Contact: contact@innoviaburst.com.
2. The service
Sabboura helps students understand their lessons (mathematics, physics, science…): the student asks a question in writing or aloud, and the tutor answers in the language of the question, or in the one the student chooses (Modern Standard Arabic, French or English), by speaking and drawing on the board. The parent follows the time spent, the chapters worked on and the summaries.
The tutor is an artificial intelligence. It can make mistakes: its answers replace neither the teacher nor the textbook, and we do not guarantee any school or exam result. A button lets you report a mistake; we correct the explanations based on these reports.
The tutor only deals with school subjects, applies content filters suited to minors and does not give the final answer to an exercise before the student has tried.
Nour’s lessons are prepared in advance and reviewed by teachers.
3. Accounts, age and consent
The family account is created by a parent who is an adult, who then invites the student. A student under 18 may only start a session after the parent has given consent; the parent may withdraw it at any time, which freezes the student’s account (see the privacy policy).
The parent undertakes to give accurate information and to keep their sign-in details confidential, and is answerable for the use of the account by the students in their family.
4. Prepaid cards, prices and payment
Draft: Sabboura is paid for with prepaid cards, with no subscription. The prices, the numbers of sessions and the payment method below are to be confirmed by the owner.
- Prepaid card: a card gives one student [number of sessions to be confirmed] sessions, at a price of [price to be confirmed by the owner].
- Validity: a card is valid for 12 months from [starting point to be confirmed: purchase or first session].
- Fair use: sessions are subject to fair use [rules to be confirmed by the owner].
- One device: an account is used on a single device [conditions for changing device to be confirmed].
- “Founder” early access: the first families to sign up get “founder” early access [conditions, duration and price to be confirmed by the owner].
Payment: [payment method to be confirmed]. Prices include all taxes [to be confirmed]. The card is activated when the payment is confirmed; it does not renew by itself.
Unused sessions and refunds: [conditions to be confirmed by the owner].
For consumers in the European Union: the 14-day right of withdrawal applies; by requesting immediate access to the service, the parent agrees that a withdrawal gives rise to a refund [terms to be confirmed: pro rata of the unused sessions].
5. Acceptable use
It is forbidden:
- to use Sabboura for anything other than learning, or to cheat during an exam or a supervised test;
- to send unlawful, violent, hateful or sexual content, or other people’s personal data (including on photos of exercises);
- to get around the service’s limits, filters or security, to extract it automatically or to resell it;
- to share an account outside the family.
In the event of a breach, we may suspend the account after informing the parent, except in an emergency.
6. Content
Questions and photos remain the student’s; the student authorises us to process them only to answer them and to provide the service. The explanations, drawings and summaries produced for them may be used freely for their studies, but not for commercial purposes.
The software, the Sabboura brand, the avatar and the educational content remain our property.
7. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep the service available and accurate, but cannot guarantee that there will be no interruption or error (maintenance, a provider’s outage). To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct damage and to the amount paid during the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that the law guarantees to consumers.
8. Cancellation and deletion
The parent may delete the family account or a student’s account at any time from the settings; the data is then erased within the periods set out in the privacy policy.
9. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Tunisian law. In the event of a dispute, we first seek an amicable solution (contact@innoviaburst.com); failing that, the courts of Tunis have jurisdiction. Consumers residing in the European Union keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country and may bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.
10. Changes
We inform parents by e-mail at least 30 days before a significant change; a parent who does not accept it may cancel free of charge.
These terms exist in Arabic, French and English; in the event of any difference, the Arabic version prevails.
